     Luffroy Latiolais was born circa 1791.2 He was the son of Louis Coquelin Latiolais and Julienne Jean Barre.2 He married Josephine Daigle, daughter of Etienne Daigle and Marianne Tayon, on 13 February 1811 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.2 He was the godfather of Alexandre Daigle baptized on 11 July 1823 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.3
