Celestine Caillier was born on 24 January 1850 at Breaux Bridge, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.1 As of 24 January 1850, Celestine Caillier was also known as Celestine Taylor.2 She was the daughter of Edmond Caillier and Euphrosine (?) She appeared as a daughter on the census of 6 November 1850 in the household of Edmond Caillier and Euphrosine Caillier at Grand Pointe, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.3 She married Joseph Adeodate Marks, son of Andre Placide Marks and Marguerite Elvige Chautin, on 18 August 1868 at Breaux Bridge, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.2
