He witnessed the marriage of Auguste Nezat and Magdaleine Barre on 17 April 1792 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.2 He appeared on the census of 1810 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, listing in the household 1 free white male 16-25, 1 free white male 26-44, 1 free white male over 45, 1 free white female 16-25, 1 free white female 26-44, 1 free white female over 45, 1 other free person, and 11 slaves.3 He witnessed the marriage of Auguste Nezat and Mathilde Carmelite Pradier on 12 February 1816 at St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.4,5,6 He appeared on the census of 1820 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, listing in the household free white males: 1 18-26 and 1 over 45; free white females: 1 over 45; 8 persons engaged in agriculture; slaves: 6 males and 4 females.7 He witnessed the marriage of Michel Guilbeaux and Clemence Potier on 3 November 1825 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.8,9 He died circa 13 July 1829.10 He was buried on 14 July 1829 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.10
