She became a widow upon the death of her husband, Franklin Lee Sargent, on 31 July 1921.2 She appeared on the census of 10 April 1930 in the household of Robert Childers at Highway 63 @ Peach Tree Road, Peach Tree Community, Jasper County, Texas.3 She died from paraqlysis of the bowels at 7:00 pm on 13 June 1930 at Pct 1, Jasper County, Texas, at age 80 years, 9 months and 11 days.1 She was buried on 14 June 1930 at Ebenezer Cemetery, Jasper County, Texas.1
