Alida Godet

     Alida Godet was born on 5 April 1896 at Port Barre, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.^1,2 Alida Godet was also known as Ida.³ She was the daughter of Charles Godet and Marie Sophie Eve Devillier.^4,1 She married Rose Zenos circa 1915.^3,1 She appeared on the census of 10 April 1930 at 232A Charleston Avenue, Port Arthur, Jefferson County, Texas, in the household of her husband Rose Zenos.³ As of 17 September 1956, Alida Zenos and Ross Zenos lived at 1135 9th Street, Port Arthur, Jefferson County, Texas.⁵ As of 17 September 1956, Alida Zenos and Ross Zenos arrived from Piraeus, Greece aboard the 'Olympia' at New York City, New York County, New York.⁵ She became a widow upon the death of her husband, Rose Zenos, on 26 March 1969 at Jefferson County, Texas.⁶ Her Social Security Number was 451-17-9119 issued in 1973 at Texas.² She died on 14 January 1974 at Port Arthur, Jefferson County, Texas, at age 77 years, 9 months and 9 days.^1,2,6 She was buried at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves, Jefferson County, Texas.¹
