She was baptized with the French name of Marie-Madeleine Hélène SIRE on 30 May 1705 at Saint-Anne-du-Bout-de-l'Ile, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, at age 13 years and 29 days. She married Guillaume Lalonde dit L'Espérance, son of Jean Lalonde dit L'Espérance and Marie Barbant, on 27 April 1710 at St. Anne De Bellevue, Quebec, Canada.3,1,4 She became a widow upon the death of her husband, Guillaume Lalonde dit L'Espérance, on 21 August 1752 at Soulanges, Quebec, Canada.3,5 She died on 25 December 1764 at Soulanges, Cedres, Quebec, Canada, at age 72 years, 7 months and 24 days.3 She was buried on 26 December 1764 at Saint-Joseph-de-Soulanges Cemetery, Les Cedres, Monteregie Region, Quebec, Canada.1
