Joseph Lejeune1

     Joseph Lejeune was born circa 1775 at Acadia.1 He was the son of Blaise Lejeune and Marie Josephe Breaux.1 He married Genevieve Janis, daughter of Huber Janis and Marie Magdeleine Brasseur, on 21 November 1796 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.1 He married Euphrosine Carriere, daughter of Michel Joseph Carriere and Julie Marcantel, on 13 August 1805 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.2
