     Thecla Meaux was born circa 1780.1 She was the daughter of Michel Meaux and Elizabeth Isabelle Broussard.1 She married Louis Cormier, son of Michel Cormier and Catherine Stelly, on 8 October 1799 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.1 She died before 21 June 1823.2,3 She was the subject of a succession filed on 21 June 1823 at Lafayette Parish Courthouse, Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.4
