He married Pelagie Landry circa 1770.1 He witnessed the marriage of Francois Bernard and Magdelaine Broussard on 3 February 1790 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.3,4 He witnessed the marriage of Odilon Broussard and Marie Anne Bernard on 3 February 1790 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.1 He died on 15 May 1819 at St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, at age 78 years.2,5 He was buried at St. Michaels Cemetery, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.2
