Marie Magdeleine Castille was born circa 1775 at Iberville Parish, Louisiana.1 She was the daughter of Joseph Castille and Ozite Landry.1 She married Joseph Richard Sr., son of Claude Richard and Rosalie Thibodeaux, on 8 February 1794 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.1,2
