     Julie Ardoin was born circa 1796 at Pointe Coupee, Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana.1 She was the daughter of Etienne Ardoin Jr. and Marie Anne Recuron.1 She married Lufroy Trahan, son of Auguste Trahan and Marie Angela Fostin, on 15 September 1817 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.1 She was the godmother of Lise Ardoin baptized on 1 July 1819 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.2 She became a widow upon the death of her husband, Joseph Lufroy Trahan, before 1 May 1823 at Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.3 She was listed as the wife in the succession of Joseph Lufroy Trahan on 1 May 1823 at Lafayette Parish Courthouse, Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.4,3 She witnessed the succession of Francois Ardoin on 3 December 1834 at St. Landry Parish Courthouse, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.5
