He married Marie Sophie Nezat, daughter of Antoine Nezat and Julie Felicie Barre, on 13 February 1810 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.4 He witnessed the marriage of Alexis Nezat and Euphrosine Roy on 28 November 1820 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.5,6 He was listed as the husband in the succession of Marie Sophie Nezat in July 1836.7
