     Marie Adeline Broussard was born on 24 December 1809 at St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.1 She was the daughter of Jean Olidon Broussard and Victorie Babineau.1,2 She was baptized on 21 October 1810 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, at age 9 months and 27 days.1 She married Pierre LeBlanc Jr., son of Pierre LeBlanc Sr. and Hortense Broussard, on 9 January 1827 at Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.3
