     Rose Lucie Doiron was born circa 1768.1 She was the daughter of Jean Baptiste Doiron and Marie Blanche Bernard.1 She married Jean Melancon, son of Paul Honore Melancon and Marie Josephe Breaux, on 23 May 1789 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.1
