Mom updated me.
Susan was Cecil and Ann's first child. (Patricia was the second, and died of heart failure that Mom called "a blue baby.") Susan was born in Silver City, New Mexico, which explains why you didn't find her. Mom isn't sure, but possibly Susan's middle name is "Ann." Susan was born in 1944 ... Mom doesn't recall the exact date of her birth.
Mom says the reason she was born in NM is because Cecil was finally allowed in the US Air Force as a flight trainer, and was stationed in NM in 1944. As I recall, he does have one of those military plaques/grave markers at the foot of his grave (as does my Dad).
Inez is not buried in Lufkin. She is buried in what Mom called the Memorial Cemetery in Katy/Houston. (Makes more sense, as Inez and Bill lived in the Memorial area.)
And you are correct that Shug = Lois!
I've found 2 DNA services that allow non-participants to search their data bases, and I played with them at work a while today. I think I can add my markers to one permanently so others can see them. I'll check into them more tonight. At first glance on both, there's still no exact marker matches to me ... and the closest was 2 markers off (which is what I find at Family Tree DNA as well).
Check them out if you want. Is one of these who you tested with?
