Lavinia Lawshe also went by the name of Love.1 She married Desmond Pulaski Hopkins, son of Andrew Norman Hopkins and Jane McChristian, on 19 December 1866 at San Marcos, Hays County, Texas.1 She appeared on the census of 16 August 1870 at San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, in the household of her husband Dess P. Hopkins.2 She appeared on the census of 10 June 1880 at San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, in the household of her husband Dess P. Hopkins.3 She appeared on the census of June 1900 at San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, in the household of her husband Desmond Hopkins.4 She appeared on the census of 28 April 1910 at 219 East San Antonio Street, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, in the household of her husband D.
