James Harrison Bostick1

     James Harrison Bostick was born on 26 December 1843.2,3 He was the son of William Thomas Bostick and Elizabeth Anne Kyle.1 He was a veteran of the Civil War serving in Company B, 11th Battalion, Texas Volunteers, Confederate States Army between 1861 and 1865.2 He married Sarah E. Collier, daughter of James Gautney Collier and Elizabeth Wynn Stewart, on 1 September 1869 at Tyler County, Texas.3 He became a widower upon the death of his wife, Sarah Elizabeth Bostick, on 23 June 1920 at Woodville, Tyler County, Texas.4,2 He died on 2 May 1926 at age 82 years, 4 months and 6 days.2 He was buried at Beech Creek Baptist Cemetery, CR 4540, Spurger, Tyler County, Texas.2
