     Celestine Lebleu was born circa 1808 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.1,2 She was the daughter of Jean Baptiste Lebleu and Marguerite LeJeune.2 She married Jean Eugene Daigle, son of Etienne Daigle and Marie Doucet, on 30 September 1828 at St. Landry Parish Courthouse, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.2,1 She became a widow upon the death of her husband, Eugene Daigle, on 20 September 1829 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.3
