     Mathilda Begnaud was born on 4 April 1840 at Cathedral of St. John, 914 St. John Street, Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.2,1 She was the daughter of Alexandre Begnaud and Elisa Constantin.3 She married Valsaint Prejean, son of Andre Maximilien Prejean and Marguerite Josephe Breaux, on 23 July 1856 at Cathedral of St. John, 914 St. John Street, Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.2,4 She was listed as the wife in the succession of Valsaint Prejean on 21 November 1865 at Lafayette Parish Courthouse, Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.5 She married Ernest LeBlanc on 25 August 1868 at Cathedral of St. John, 914 St. John Street, Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.6
