     Marie Zeline Prejean was born circa 1799 at Carencro, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.1 She was the daughter of Andre Prejean and Marie Bernard.1 She married Pierre Cyrille Richard, son of Pierre Fabian Richard and Francoise Adelaide Thibodeaux, on 31 January 1820 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Grand Coteau, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.2
