     Jean Louis Robin was born circa 1786.1 He was the son of Francois Robin and Marie Anne Tisserau Moncharvaux.2 He witnessed the marriage contract of Louis Joseph Francois Robin and Emelite Stelly on 17 September 1807 at St. Landry Parish Courthouse, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.3,4 He married Felecite DelHomme on 9 May 1816 at St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.5,6,1 He was listed as a son in the succession of Francois Robin on 12 December 1834 at St. Landry Parish Courthouse, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.2 He became a widower upon the death of his wife, Felecite DelHomme, on 31 October 1873 at Arnaudville, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.7
