Dorothy Mae Eldridge

     Dorothy Mae Eldridge also went by the name of Dot.² She was born on 6 June 1928 at Port Barre, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.^3,4 Dorothy Mae Eldridge was also known as Dorothy Mae McDonald.¹ She was the daughter of Clifford Eldridge and Eleanor Ardoin.^3,2 She and Curtis Joseph Nezat were related to each other as 3rd cousins once removed and double 4th cousins once removed. She married Curtis Joseph Nezat, son of Jules Freddy Nezat and Mathilde Hebert, on 2 November 1946.⁴ She became a widow upon the death of her husband, Curtis Joseph Nezat, on 13 February 2010 at Baptist Herman Orange Memorial Hospital, 608 Strickland Drive, Orange, Orange County, Texas.^5,6 She died on 20 July 2010 at Harbor Hospice Care Facility, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, at age 82 years, 1 month and 14 days.³ She was buried on 24 July 2010 at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Meeks Drive, Orange, Orange County, Texas.³
