     Magadeline Mayer was born circa 1775 at St. John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana.1 She was the daughter of Andre Mayer and Marie Anne Stelly. She married William Spangenberg on 18 June 1791.2 She was listed as a daughter in the succession of Andre Mayer in January 1818 at St. Landry Parish Courthouse, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.2 She died on 19 May 1818 at Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.3 She was buried on 20 May 1818 at St. Landry Catholic Cemetery, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.3
