He married Sue Josephine (Josette) Fruge', daughter of Pierre Antoine Fruge' and Suzanne Burns, on 12 October 1805 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.1 He witnessed the marriage of Frederick Miller and Jacente Fruge' on 2 February 1819 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.3 He was the godfather of Don Louis Marcantel baptized on 10 September 1821 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.4 He married Marcelite St. Cyr on 23 March 1836. He died circa 1859.
