     Myrtle Elvira Faircloth was born on 2 October 1880 at Warren, Tyler County, Texas.1 She married Dr. Robert Edward Lee Charlton, son of James Monroe Charlton and Elizabeth Jane Masterson, circa 1900.1 She became a widow upon the death of her husband, Dr. Robert Edward Lee Charlton, on 30 October 1918 at Evadale, Jasper County, Texas.2 She died from congestive heart failure at 1:40 pm on 18 August 1963 at Orange Memorial Hospital, 608 Strickland Drive, Orange, Orange County, Texas, at age 82 years, 10 months and 16 days.3,1 She was buried at Resthaven Cemetery, Silsbee, Hardin County, Texas.3
