     Francoise Granger was born circa 1790.1 She was the daughter of Joseph Granger and Marie Babin.1 She married Louis Simar, son of Louis Simar and Marie Rose Trahan, on 24 July 1816 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.1
