Paulin Ardoin was born on 30 June 1796.1 He was the son of Etienne Ardoin Jr. and Marie Anne Recuron.1 He married Delphine Broussard, daughter of Raphael Broussard and Marguerite LeBlanc, on 2 September 1817 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana
.2 He died at the home of Raphael Broussard, his father-in-law, on 30 June 1818 at St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, at age 22 years.1 He was buried on 1 July 1818 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Cemetery, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.1 He was the subject of a succession filed on 20 October 1821 at St. Martin Parish Courthouse, 400 S Main Street, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.3
