Chrisogon Emond was born circa 1792 at Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana.1 He was the son of Charles Emond and Agatha Lejeune.1 He married Marie Ozide Andre Chautin, daughter of Joseph Andre Chautin and Francoise Legros, on 7 December 1813 at Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana.1 He married Ozide Andre, daughter of Joseph Andre Chautin and Francoise Legros, on 5 January 1816 at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, revalidating their civil marriage on 07 Dec 1813 before the judge of Pointe Coupee because there was no priest available.1 He died before 1860.2
