Pierre LaPointe1

     Pierre LaPointe was born circa 1774 at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan.1 He was the son of Pierre LaPointe and Marie Bigras.2 He married Heleine Landry, daughter of Firmin Landry and Theotiste Thibodeaux, on 4 October 1794 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.1
