     Charles B. Charlton was born on 10 April 1889 at Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas.1,2 He was the son of Charles Napoleon Charlton and Mary Runnels.2 He appeared as a son on the census of 18 June 1900 in the household of Charles Charlton and Mary Runnels at Collier's Ferry Road, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas.2 He married Juanita A. Roland, daughter of James Roland and Josephine McGaffey, circa 1912.3 He became a widower upon the death of his wife, Juanita A. Charlton, on 9 December 1932 at 1140 Catalpa, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas.4,5 He died on 22 December 1959 at age 70 years, 8 months and 12 days.1 He was buried at Anthony Cemetery, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas.1
